Topical Products Testing LLC (TPT LLC), provides R and D contract services to Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and veterinary product companies. TPT LLC has the expertise and infrastructure for the development of topical products, characterization of advanced drug delivery formulations and complex generics. The team has unique expertise to perform permeation studies across animal and human tissue models (skin, ocular, buccal, sublingual, vaginal, rectal, anal and nasal mucosa). TPT has developed some proprietary know how and tools that would facilitate the rapid development of most efficient line of products.

Over 20 Years Of Experience With Best Results
TPT team has standardized the methods of conducting in vitro permeation testing (IVPT) of topical products across the human cadaver skin. The protocols developed by TPT team for characterization and evaluation of topical products are unique and have been instrumental in formulating product specific guidance by USFDA.
The team has also mastered the technique of isolating the mucosa from buccal, sublingual, nasal, rectal and vagina tissues. The tools for testing the integrity of the tissue barriers are in place.
TPT is currently working on two active projects funded by USFDA. The objective of the projects is to investigate the role of excipients on the microstructure and thermodynamic activity of the topical products
Dr. Murthy, the Chief Scientific Officer is a pioneer in formulation, characterization and evaluation of topical products intended for application to the skin, eye, mucosal membranes and nail plates.
